October 8, 20241 yr Hi. Friends of mine have a Solarsystem with is 6 panels, 450 Wp each, a Voltronic Expert Max 8K, and 3 Pylontechs US3000C. There is a problem in the Inverter, and it won't charge the batteries via an Generator. We could pack it up, and sent it to the supplier, but it will be gone for a few weeks, or that is my experience here in Spain. Is the another way to charge those Pylontechs? Maybe with a Batteriecharger, but I cant find any with good specifics for that. We are based in Spain. Thanks!
October 8, 20241 yr Yes, I use Eltek Flatpack Chargers but you do need a bit of programming / electronic ability.
October 8, 20241 yr I recently bought a DC booster that is able to raise voltage from 12vdc up to 90vdc and 40amp. Convertidor de impulso de DC-DC de 1800W 40A, módulo de fuente de alimentación de 10-60V a 12-90V, convertidor de voltaje ajustable de 1500W 30A 1200W 20A - AliExpress 502 With a simple voltmeter and a little screwdriver you can set input voltage, output voltage and maximum current. You can use a standard 12v battery or your car alternator to recharge the pylons. Maybe an option for you?

I have in mind to use the same unit to boost a 48V battery to over 65V as needed by another inverter.

I need to do more testing with higher currents.
