haha, so it is possible to connect to inverter through the local wifi network in PV Master! You just need to tap the "SEMS icon" in the left top corner and it will connect you to the inverter and you are able to do everything in PV Master 👍

next step -> find out how to connect it to Raspberry Pi and be able to control and set up inverter with some basic scripts, so I can make the whole PV system much more efective

I cannot get the SEMS to work on PV Master as described above, seems to accept the touch (SEMS cloud icon reacts on screen)  but nothing happens. My mate with the same system has exact same. Would be great to access SEMS directly from PV Master, hopefully the gurus can assist!

I take it you do have the SEMS app installed?  Else it won't access it.

yup SEMS app installed and working.

Tested mine - touching the sems cloud icon takes me to the app store - does not open SEMS.  I open SEMS 'manually' from the app screen.

Hi, have you made any progress with the Raspberry Pi interface to the inverter? I'm keen for something similar (to for example switch pool pump on and off, depending on PV supply and battery state)

Hi all

I have a SEMS portal version 2.3.4

The overview page calculations seem very odd and the load seem to follow the production in a linear fashion.

Does any one have an explanation?

Good afternoon.
there is no authentication of the sec1000 logger (10 nverters registered with communication on port 485) with the sems portal server. Server responses do not come to the logger . On the sems portal registered everything does not work monitoring and info does not come to the logger. someone with talkivals with such a problem? thank you!

Hi There,

I have an issue with connecting to SEMS app. Couldn't get through even if I tried several times. I have DNS type inverter. How i can fix the issue, please?

Mine is often offline every week. At least once a week. Have talked to the Goodwe people but yet no solution. In retrorespect we should of got a cheaper version like Growatt. The wifi dongle or server is an issue. However, Goodwe support keeps on blaming our internet connections. I have one friend which I have referred got the same inverter and his is offline more than twice a week. The other issue is once it is offline, it is off for the whole day. It doesn't come back on or reconnect until the next morning when the inverter turns on again. Sometimes, it is off for several days. I definitely wouln't recommend Goodwe. Any cheaper inverter works better. We are just disgusted with their app, dongle, server and service. They do not have any technicians to come out to site to check. Have spoken and complained on more than 7 occasions, it has still ongoing and not yet resolved.
