October 27, 20241 yr hi guys, I'm a new user who purchased this Voltronic Axpert MAX DUPLEX 11000-48 Inverter 11.0kw 48 volt inverter, I noticed that it remains at 90v until it exceeds a threshold, I had read that this problem had been fixed, can you help me out look for the correct firmware version for my inverter? A thousand thanks. I add a screen of the inverter info since I connected it to solarassistant Edited October 27, 20241 yr by Dario Lorenzoni

Until yesterday, I had not found any Duplex firmwares at all. The one I found is 11.05, the one you have, and I've confirmed that it doesn't have the logic that I've come to believe is the "good" logic, i.e. that fixes the stuck at 90V issue.
October 28, 20241 yr Author can it be set manually by running some codes to solve this problem in your opinion?

If you mean can you work around the "stuck at 90V" issue with judicious commands, no I don't believe so. 2 hours ago, Dario Lorenzoni said: could you make me a patched version of 11.05? I'd like future MPPT patches to be done "properly", meaning that I'd want to transplant the presumed good code from a similar sized inverter. Similar sized, because part of the code to be transplanted involves control system gains, and these are presumably unique to each model's rated power. Though it might only relate to the rated power of the MPPT, and these might be similar; I haven't had a chance to look into this yet. It's also a slightly larger patch that will require use of spare space in the firmware, and this spare space tends to move around a little. For all these reasons, this is a moderately big job, so I'll have to wait for a few other jobs to get done first. However, this has the potential to be a popular and useful patch, given that yet again, Voltronic doesn't seem motivated to fix it in production firmwares. So I do intend to devote some effort to this, but it may take some time. So the short answer is "yes, but...".
January 14, 20251 yr Author Hi Coulomb, I'm very desperate, I'm willing to pay for your work but can you help me by fixing my firmware? I work with car control units, if you tell me how I can help you I'll do it too, do I have to read you the firmware? i'm very desperade i want fix 90v stuck

Ok, I'll forego "doing it properly" for expedience. I recently discovered that a lot of what I thought I understood about the MPPT code was wrong, so it's even more work to do it properly than I thought. For now, I really want to keep my patching scripts out of the hands of the cloners, if at all possible. These are patched firmware versions x11.05, based on factory firmware version 11.05 for the Axpert Max E 11kW '28066 Duplex. Do not use with any other firmware; in particular, not with any non-Duplex model. Duplex models have extra hardware for switching two AC-in sources, possibly in addition to two AC-out ports. The patched firmwares apply all of Georg594's original 90.06 patches to work around the "stuck at 90V" issue. They also fix the premature float bug, and return a version number like 211.05 from monitoring software. Use at your own risk. dsp_211.05_patched.inv contains version 211.05 forces the minimum MPPT voltage to 200V. dsp_211.05_patched.inv contains version 111.05 forces the minimum MPPT voltage to 150V. dsp_211.05_patched.inv contains version 911.05 forces the minimum MPPT voltage to 90V, as does the original, but it applies all the other patches (reduced current threshold, etc). Use only for systems with very small PV arrays, e.g. 4 72-cell panels per MPPT. dsp_original.inv contains the unpatched factory firmware version 11.05. The .inv files are just hex files, but irritatingly the Arena reflash tool looks for the .inv extension unless you override it.
