October 27, 20241 yr Segen solar rejected my warranty claim on a pylontech battery that gave trouble 5 years before the warranty expired, with the excuse of "that he is overloaded" and blamed my inverter. I had it tested by someone else and his finding was that the BMS was faulty. Am I right in saying the overload has nothing to do with the inverter?

The battery BMS is there to protect the battery cells from overloading. So their excuse does not make much sense. Edited October 28, 20241 yr by HendrikBigChief
October 28, 20241 yr Okay, but if the BMS is faulty, it might not be performing the function of limiting the loading on the battery. It would be interesting to know what exact inverter, and what size and number of batteries were in use.
