Yours could be upgraded to 73.00e patched firmware (assuming it's a model with a maximum MPPT voltage of 145 V), which will fix the premature float bugs, there are lots of features, and the LFP flavour will make life a little easier.

It's not essential, however; several users have models where the firmware can't be updated, and seem to do OK (they just have to do some unexpected things, like set the battery cutoff setting to about 44.0 V).

I can't imagine anyone living without patched firmware, but I'm perhaps a little biased, as I'm one of the authors 🙂  The patched firmware is free.
