March 11, 20251 yr The svolt bat. soh dropped from 100 to 88 recently after 18 months and 145 cycles. Discharged to 70 perc. mostly. Cells balanced within 10mv . Could this be a bms calibration fault as I do not think soh should go down this much after 18 months of moderate use.
March 12, 20251 yr Yes, a sudden drop in SOH like that, especially with moderate use (70% discharge and only 145 cycles), could be a BMS calibration issue rather than actual cell degradation.Try a full charge, then a controlled deep discharge (down to ~10-20%), followed by a full recharge. This might trigger recalibration.
