That's cause a Lithium battery has a BMS that can give the inverter accurate battery capacity, and manage safe shutoff if needed. With a Lead Acid you need a 3rd party monitoring system, which may or may be compatible with the inverter itself. At the end of the day it helps to guarantee performance
