I have just had a system installed in the UK

4 x 10.6 Sunsynk and a 12kWh three phase sunsynk

SW Ver.： M 2006-1151 / S  18-07 / C 1001-E04D

I have tried to set the trickle to grid to 0 watts but it always reverts to 20 watts.

I raised a case for firmware which was updated to the above version yet still it cannot be set.

I said to sunsynk:

The user interface on the inverter allows this to be set to 0 or 10 thru to 100 in 10watt increments, but it is not retained is this a bug?

The unreal reply:

This is software logic, not an error

If the customer does not accept, we can downgrade the inverter firmware.

Is support always this bad and can anyone set it to zero ?

I'd re-phrase this as:

They implemented this change of settings in the firmware deliberately in order to spare their customers some potential problems with their meters.

However, if a customer prefers not to take their new settings, they can revert it back to a previous firmware that allowed free choice of the setting.

sadly the version before had the same issue
