Sunsynk timer and battery question
Yes but why is it doing that when it is in a charge mode it should just pull from the grid to charge itself otherwise how am I supposed to charge the EV without using the battery. in my solis I just set charge between 23:30 and 05:30 and it does exactly that, this new system discharges when it shouldn't

Solar Assistant connecting to Home Assistant
If you are using the HA mqtt add on you have to do as hilt_ctn says change the false setting to true for customisation Then you have to add the new file to /share/mosquitto/ this file can be called solar_assistant.conf the file should contain connection SolarAssistant remote_username your_sa_mqttuser remote_password your_sa_broker_password address 192.168.0.x (your sa ip) topic # in topic solar_assistant/# out this will load the lines into your broker, when I did this everything else broke on my broker but the SA stuff worked fine and I haven't had time to go further

Sunsynk timer and battery question
Further to my testing if the inverter is set to charge mode and the car pulls more than 12kW the inverter pushes instead of pulling. So Discharge above 60% is set, battery is 58% car is pulling under 12 kw, inverter charges battery. car pulls over 12kw battery stops charging and pushes instead of just charging as requested

Sunsynk timer and battery question
I have a three phase supply im on grid with a 12kW sunsynk three phase unit. Can anyone explain why the inverter doesn't charge from the grid per the timer if my ev is pulling the charge from the grid. I have set my timer to charge if below 60% you can see the battery settings and you can see it discharging the battery yet if I ramp the power down on the ev (Tesla 3 phase) the battery then starts to charge. is almost like the sunsynk discharges if the grid load is above the 12kw rating , its doing my head in, I want to charge at 18kw in the car and the battery at the same time. This can be seen where if I ramp the car down it sits just charging if I ramp it up the battery discharges any ideas

Sunsynk - Solar Assistant Question
I have recently had a three phase 12k Sunsynk inverter installed with 18 435w panels and 4 x 10.6 kW Sunsynk Batteries there are no onboard ct clamps due to distance being about 18m so there is a rs485 link to a three phase eastron. I purchased solar assistant with a can and rs485 splitter plus rs485 lead. Everything looks fine but im a bit perplexed by the numbers im seeing. Why would the Ac Output Power be negative on phase2 and the grid power be positive, does this look like a clamp ?

Trickle
Hi All, I have just had a system installed in the UK 4 x 10.6 Sunsynk and a 12kWh three phase sunsynk SW Ver.: M 2006-1151 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E04D I have tried to set the trickle to grid to 0 watts but it always reverts to 20 watts. I raised a case for firmware which was updated to the above version yet still it cannot be set. I said to sunsynk: The user interface on the inverter allows this to be set to 0 or 10 thru to 100 in 10watt increments, but it is not retained is this a bug? The unreal reply: This is software logic, not an error If the customer does not accept, we can downgrade the inverter firmware. Is support always this bad and can anyone set it to zero ? dod
