Kodak OG 7.2 Fault code 12

Featured Replies

I have a Kodak OG 7.2 inverter displaying fault code 12, even when connected to a battery only and no load is connected. What could be the cause and solution?

This is "DC-DC over current". I'm not sure how this current is measured; it seems to be a result directly from a sensor.

Are you good with electronic repairs? If not, you will need to have it repaired, and unfortunately, the likely result is "main board replacement", which is most of the inverter.

Edit: This doesn't seem to be a common fault; I can't find it in the AEVA repairs and hardware updates page, or with a quick search. Not that this is likely to be much consolation, but that's why there are few if any known fixes for this.
