August 18, 20251 yr Hi i have 2x Kodak OG5.6kw inverters in parallel connected to 3x pylontech up5000 batteries and each inverter has 10x 460w solar panels connected to them all panels in series,I have a proplem every now and then the screens on both inverters goes bland and then both of them loose some of their settings like eg setting number 13 i set to '51V' and then after the fault has occurred setting number 13 will be set to 'FULL' and setting number '20' i set to 'LON' and after the fault its set to 'LOF' on both the inverters and it happens randomly atleast 3 times a weeki have run them one at a time for days without any problems and without the fault occurring but when they are used together it happensi have swapped the parallel cables with new cables -Did not helpi have updated the firmware on both inverters to the same firmware = Did not helpi have swopped my batteries around making another pylontech the master - Did not helpi plugged in the bms communication cable to both inverters and did settings accordingly - still the samei really cant understand where the problem is coming from how will i know which one is causing this or is it both inverter
August 19, 20251 yr Did you try to disconnect the batteries com cables and run the battery management with setting 05 to USE?
August 24, 20251 yr Author Not yet but i would prefer to always use the bms of the battery i dont want to run the system on use because the reported battery levels are inaccurate then

With the correct settings they manage the battery charge perfectly on the base of battery voltage. Yes the inverters battery SOC reports are worthless since they don't have the right curves in their firmware. I monitor the batteries with RS485 connection to my laptop.
