Axpert King with Pylontech 2500

Featured Replies

Hi all, hope someone can help please, I have had the Axpert (King) i think 3kw inverter running on Lead acid for a few years, I just purchased a pylontech 2500 and am having problems

I get an error after about 1 or 2 min on the inverter it looks like 61 with the little warning symbol to the right of the number, I cant find this error in the manual

Also, i was hoping to use the CAN Bus to connect the Pylontech to the inverter but in the manual it says the RJ45 marked LIPO is not enabled???

any ideas? Please

It means comms error to the BMS of the battery. Near the end of the manual, in a different section to most of the other fault and warning codes.

Long ago it was the case that Axperts only connect to Pylontechs via RS-485, despite the Pylontechs being able to talk both, and the Axperts are able to talk CAN bus to other battery types. I believe that this is still the case.

  • Do you have a cable from the inverter to the Pylontech BMS?

  • Is the battery type set to PYL?
