I have a 6.2 kW hybrid inverter. Both my inverter’s IC chip number and main DSP board number match your specifications.

I would like to request the U1 firmware version 74.11 for my inverter.

Could you please provide me the firmware file and instructions to safely update it?

The "U1 74 11" does suggest Voltronic firmware, but no Voltronic model that I'm aware of has that display.

So my guess is that this is a "workalike", basically copying the Voltronic hardware, but patching or rewriting the firmware so as to drive a different display and possibly attempt to avoid copyright infringement.

I'd further guess that they also modified the command that initiates firmware updates, so that Voltronic firmware update files won't work on these models.

So the only way to get the firmware update files would be from this workalike manufacturer, or one of their resellers.

It may be that like Voltronic in the very early days, they have not bothered to set a security password for reading the firmware. In that case, you could use a JTAG interface to read firmware from one inverter and write it to others. But that's pretty unlikely.

Another possibility is that this is a new Voltronic model that I'm not aware of; I have been distracted this year with family matters.

Hi, my inverter EASUN SMH-III 6.2kW have same firmware version, same display.

No update possible for now, the seller and the manufacturer refuse to provide updates. They also deny the possibility of direct communication, but I sniffed the connection between RS232 and the WiFi adapter.

They don't communicate with the usual "Voltronic" commands, but use ModBus communication.

What chip does it have?
