KobusK
I bought an Axpert 7 months ago never to realize the comms port is a serial port RS232. Can this board/board be swapped with a USB interface?

Can this board/board be swapped with a USB interface? It's unusual to see a 5 kVA model with a serial board that doesn't already have a USB interface. You could possibly swap that board for one with both [ Edit: both an RJ-45 with RS-232 and a USB connector ], if you could mount it safely. But I don't see the advantage. The USB port still connects to the processor via a 2400 bps serial port, so it will be no faster. You may as well use the provided RJ-45 to RS-232 cable to talk to a computer, possibly via a USB to RS-232 adapter. KobusK
This is the problem I currently have. Seems that ICC will be phasing out the support of Rs232 and only support usb interface. I am currently using ICC on a PI via RS232/ serial port with usb/rs232 converter.
KobusK
Small mistake🥴. The cable I received with inverter is a normal RJ 45 cable and the other end is a a serial connection. The other end i use a converter tochange the Serial port to USB. where can I get a usb board?

You might be able to buy it from your supplier, but they are very fussy about getting your serial number and getting the exact right part for your inverter (which you don't want!). Also, yours looks like it may be a clone, so I have no idea if your supplier has a model with a USB port or not (it depends on what model(s) they copied). You might be able to find one on Ebay, perhaps from someone who had a catastrophic failure of the rest of the unit. People that repair Axperts might have one too, but such people are not so easy to find either.
