As per title - Sunsynk 5kW inverter not working - no LCD, no LED lightsSeems the inverter only passes the AC through, the battery does not get charged and seems there is no PV power.I have done a couple of restarts:Switch off PV, AC, battery and then remove battery comms cable. Wait a couple of hours.When the inverter starts up, the screen comes on but flickers, then the inverter is dead.About 5 months or so ago, the WiFi Dongle stopped working. Not sure if this is related.

Not sure if this is related.I believe it is related.I have seen this exact problem and it was caused by the card the Wifi dongle plugs into. You can test this by unplugging the cable that feeds this internal card. Does the inverter start normally?I have repaired two of these cards. One had a shorted capacitor and the other a faulty MAX232. Simple fixes if you know someone cable of working on SMD components.
