Confused by Voltronic SNMP web pro stats

Featured Replies

We have a Voltronic Inifni 10KW inverter with SNMP web card. The (currently) 5KW solar system was installed on June 10th, 2018 so its almost a year now and I wanted to get an idea of how much energy has been produced.

I'm confused by the "Power Statistic" page e.g:

- Annual chart shows all the power generated (10,000 KWH) as if it were in 2019 - which is impossible.
- Monthly chart, shows all power generation to be in only 3 months - again not possible.
- Daily chart seems accurate.

Why are the annual/monthly charts Not accurate? Is the inverter not logging data correctly or is this a setting issue?

What about "This year" value in the table below chart, is that supposed to be for calendar year or 12 months since installation? because if its the former, then the value is incorrect, even for the 12 month option its a bit optimistic.

Hi @LionKing

Voltronic inverters are great, but the SNMP card is just a piece of crap:

  • Just like you said, the daily stats are okay, but monthly and yearly are total bullshit.
  • Every couple of days, SNMP card just freezes. It is not clearly visible, but if you try to change any setting, it will throw an error. ON/OFF is the only help.

I have two InfiniSolar 5K Plus units and both SNMP cards are behaving exactly the same. Insane statistics, freezing every other week.

For example, one of my units is telling me that it produced 62 MWh last year. This would translate to roughly 170kWh/day,  including winter. Cool! 😋

Forget about using this tool. It really has no value. If you want to have accurate stats, the only way is the realtime logging of the values from the Infini and then sending them into some 3rd party tool for keeping kWh stats. I'm using EmonCMS, for example. But I'm sure there are tons of alternatives.

Sorry,

10MWh produced in 2019?

Given it's 5th of May, and you have a 5kWp array, that can't be correct...

If you are not exporting excess power to the grid and your average daily consumption is 25kWh, then the realistic production to date is roughly 3MWh.
