May 15, 20197 yr Whe placing panels on a roof what has to be provided for? Access to cabeling, cleaning etc? Does one have to provide sufficient spacing between strings etc

If you have to step on PV modules to get there, you're doing it wrong 🙂
May 15, 20197 yr Those panels look pretty close to the edges. The required distance depends on your cyclone zone; it will no doubt be different in South Africa than Australia. For me, it was something like 300 mm. The problem is wind getting under the panels in wild weather, possibly taking part of the roof with the panels if they fly off.
