June 25, 20197 yr Hi all Anyone using them, got experience with them @plonkster, Victron view/compatibility. G
June 25, 20197 yr Depends what you mean by supported. There's like three levels. Some batteries can be used off-grid, with inverters that don't support CAN-bus comms or anything. If this is one, then yes, it will work just fine. It might not hook into the Venus subsystem, but who cares, neither do lead acid. Or you might mean, is it supported by the canbus protocol on Venus. Well, maybe. If it is similar enough to that which is used by most of the others, the it might be. Don't know. Is it supported by Victron? No. If you contact them and ask for help, and it turns out to be related to your battery, you're on your own.

Only two ways to find out. 1) Get a document that explains the protocol, 2) plug it in and see if it works and/or run candump to see what comes out and if it is close. For now the answer is "no". Can't say that it does. Edited June 25, 20197 yr by plonkster
