"Briefcase" for Linux

Featured Replies

I am looking for the name of a Linux function that will do the same as the "Briefcase" in Windows.

I am running around with a hard drive full of manuals and data sheets that I want to auto update every time I plug it into my Linux PC. I download some stuff at work and store it on the hard drive and when I need it while working on quotes I first need to go look for my hard drive (normally still in the car). Then is still need to figure out what is new and what is old, and then copy it to my file on the PC.

An auto update/sync will be so much more convenient.

Does anyone know of such a function in Linux.
