Minuscule DoD and Battery Cycles

Featured Replies

Greetings,

Will discharging a standby AGM battery by less than 1% then recharging constitute a battery cycle?

I'm adding 780Wp solar panels to an Axpert MKS 3K-24 to run a 280W refrigerator and 220W deep freezer continuously off solar during the day. A 0.5hp (375W) water booster pump will also kick-in momentarily and will require battery power to make up for the solar shortfall. Will this momentary "battery assist" count as a battery cycle?

Setup: Axpert MKS 3K-24 with 600W 75Vdc MPPT, 2*12V*200Ah Ritar VRLA batteries, 2*390Wp 1s2p Jinko JKM390M-72H 49.3Voc panels and "01 SOL" Solar first setting 01.

Comments and suggestions to the above setup are welcome so please fire away.
