Posted February 20, 20205 yr Hey Guys, I was a long time ago on this forum, and still one of the best. I need some info on this inverter before I order it (Mustek said they will get stock in the first week of March) I used Mecer Axpert 3kva MK plus for almost 3 years now with RPI and ICC and time to upgrade to 5kva So with alot of problems and hassles with solar companies I find and order 2x 2.4KW Pylontech US2000 plus batteries, what I need to know is : Is the Axpert King Compatible with ICC Do I need a special cable to connect the pylontech coms to the RPI via USB or is their now a better connection directly to the inverter via the "CAN" connection to get the correct SOC I will greatly appreciated if their is someone on the forum that have almost the same system that can tell me how accurate the SOC is on USB to RPI or direct on inverter is. Thanx
February 21, 20205 yr Hi, The newer Axpert Kings (Feb 2019 +) can communicate directly with the Pylontech batteries. I think this would be a better solution as I had my RPI freeze a couple of times resulting in the batteries running dead. I would still use the RPI & ICC for monitoring purposes.

Does the ICC solution work well for monitoring real-time usage from one's mobile phone? I have an Axpert King connected to Pylontech batteries with the custom cable, so that is working as it should, but can only monitor when physically standing in front of the system. Or is anyone aware of a wifi module for the Axpert King?

Thanx, I was reading about that somewhere, thats why I want to ask if someone is using the same related system that the pylontech can connect directly to the inverter if I am not mistaken its connecting via RJ45 connector, like same as normal network cable, hope I can extend that cable by crimping my own 🤔

You can monitor and control it from anywhere, I use VNC on my mobile to be able to log into the settings and desktop. All stats are posted in realtime to a website for easy monitoring

See attached Pylontec Axpert VMIII-KING Configuration (used for cable, set battery dip switches to 1000).pdf

March 3, 20205 yr Author Dankie,I will look in too it,I use the network cable that came with my inverter and connect it to CAN port on the master pylontech,it reads my SOC 100% on selected AGM,but when select to user,it drops the SOC instant and voltage stay the same
May 14, 20222 yr What could be the reason why the pylontech battery tab is not showing up on Anydesk(ICC)
