Victor NM II 5KVA/5VA firmware update

Featured Replies

I have installed LifePo4 batteries charged by a Victor NM-II inverter. I read somewhere there is a firmware update with a Lithium ion battery smart charging option which will enable the inverter to "communicate" with the batteries. I need help to, first get the firmware and second step by step and detailed instructions to update the firmware.  I am using the user defined battery charging settings for now..

Hi Coulomb
I have already discussed with you on the AEVA forum about the firmware for victor NM IV 3600-24.
I am desperately looking for the firmware to try to modify the premature float bug. The vendor will send me a control board with updated firmware. He does not want to send a firmware update file. It also tells me that the update will not fix the bug....!!!
With your help I would try to extract the firmware, there may be no protection code...

Sorry, I deal with so many people and requests. Perhaps read the linked post, and get yourself a suitable JTAG device. The inverter looks like it's based on the Axpert design, but may be different enough to have its own firmware.
