With all the additional costs the cost per kWh is close to R3. Even with an expensive solar installation you can still generation 30kWh a day at R1/kWh.
November 17, 20223 yr Hi, I bought a 1000w sma solar grid tie inverter but after reading this thread I am hesitant to use it. I have a hexing CIU EV-KP prepaid meter. Am I correct in understanding that if I have credits applied to the meter, have less consumption in my house than the inverter is producing, then it will take away from my prepaid credits and potentially put the meter in a tamper mode. Am I correct in my understanding?
