You don't need to use the comms cable to the battery's BMS, to use SBU output source priority or for any other reason. When the battery BMS is set up correctly, using the cable is generally best, but the defaults that come with Pylontechs and several others aren't suitable for Axperts. Over on AEVA forums, someone was saying that there are console port commands to change the defaults, but these aren't documented properly. Hopefully some day someone will sort it out, and using the cable will become the norm. Until then, it seems best not to use the cable, sadly.
October 19, 20205 yr Author Thank you @Coulomb I did my searching and I need to buy external software to control the Inverter and the Pylon Battery. I did run it on SBU with the User setting but got a fault error. Then I change the system back to SUB.
