Fatboy Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 (edited) Hi Can you advise what your current firmware version is. We had loadshedding on Thursday evening and inverter was working well for about 1:50 minutes until I switched on the kettle and immediately the inverter tripped and displayed error message 04 and 20. Since then, the inverter is displaying the error message even after few reboots. Had to change my settings 05 from Li to Use. I suspect the problem might have to do with commutation error maybe resulting in inverters firmware version. Edited January 16, 2021 by Fatboy Change of name Quote

zsde Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 That error message means no BMS comms possible. The original report is over 2 years old and he has the 5000TL HVM Inverter which has different firmware than the 5000ES. It could be caused amongst others by a bad LAN cable connection, non matching pin outs on the RJ45 connectors, incorrect Li protocol or perhaps even a battery firmware update that was done and now needs an updated firmware for the Inverter. yare Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 The batteries had different firmware. I have made an update to the firmware to make it the same on all batteries. Quote
