We got a house in Mozambique in the rurals we just got a 5kw hidrid solar inverter..more than enough..we just bought a 7kw generator for business but want to know as we been through a two week with almost no sun..question is can we connect the generator to the hidrid ac input or do we need to put it through a seperate inlet? we also want to charge the solar batteries when the generator is running.

If it's an Axpert type (sometimes mislabelled as a hybrid inverter-charger), then yes. You might be unlucky with the generator though; Axperts are very picky. See this FAQ.
