April 5, 20215 yr I'm about to drop some cash on this journey and would like to get some advice on feeding back to grid. I have a digital meter fitted to my home and i have been told that if i over produce more watts thatn consumed with the PV panels that i will end up been charged for what ever gets fed back into the grid. 1) Is this true? 2)If True how do i avoid it?
April 5, 20215 yr The supplied clamp meter will tell the inverter if this is likely to happen and the inverter will NOT feed back into the grid after that point.

There are settings on the inverter to prevent feed back to the grid.
