Is this connection ok?

It is connect the inverter negative to the BMS negative. They both have round crips.

I've covered the connection with electrical tape.

Looks good, just tighten it as hard as you can.

Pretty much!  

how are your fans doing? Mine go 24/7 like jet engines lol. looking at swapping them out for quieter ones.

btw, did you top balance your cells?

Yes, the fans sound like jet engines just about to take off.. even under no load or charge. I had to put this whole setup in the garage because of the noise. I didn't top balance the cells, but they all came at the exact same voltage (bought them from lithiumbatteriessa.co.za). Where did you get yours from?

Yes also bought mine there. Are you using solar as well?

im hoping to swop the fans out. Will be posting results here if interested.

 

No solar yet, but I am keen to connect panels eventually! Please let me know if you have any luck setting any panels up with it.. Thank you for the link - I am keen to see how you go with changing the fans!
