Axpert VM IIs seem less popular than other models, or at least, I come across fewer firmwares for them.

The only one I have is 20.44, which is presumably one minor revision earlier than the one you have now.

? Don't you already have 20.45? I don't see the reloading it will achieve anything. If the firmware image is imperfect, it tends to crash very quickly.

The only realistic way of getting a 20.45 firmware update file is if you owned a VM II, and had a really good need for the firmware update (like you had a second VM II with older firmware, and you needed to parallel them). Then you could ask your supplier, who would verify that you really do own one and really do need the update, and they get the firmware update file sent from Taiwan, to forward it to you.

Or you could wait for it to appear on some forum or file server somewhere, because someone else went through all that and uploaded it. It could be a long wait.

firmware with version 20.44 or 20.45 for Axpert VMII 5KW /48Vdc

I do not have an update file for 20.45. 20.44 from 2017(!) is in this sister topic:

There is also version 90.95, also for the Axpert VM II non-premium (there is a premium VM II model with presumed different firmware, as of about mid 2024). This firmware update is apparently from 2023. It supports PF1 and PF0.8, although the link it came from says PF1. The link also mentions 100A, suggesting that the maximum charge current has been increased to 100A. Indeed, 10-100A is allowed for setting 02, maximum total charge current. Though the QMCHGCR command only returns strings "10" through "80"; the author presumably forgot to change this command. It would be wise to use this firmware only if the label states that the maximum charge current is 100A. I have not otherwise compared this 90.95 firmware with 20.44.

This is main (DSP, U1) factory firmware version 90.95 for the Axpert VM II non-premium. Do not use with any other model. Probably best to only use with models that indicate a rated maximum charge current of 100A on the ratings sticker. Use at your own risk.

Firmware upload instructions for models with no removable or round display.

I need 20.43

Can I ask why?

As a point of interest, the 20.44 firmware came in a file and folder that suggested that it was 20.43.

But the QVFW command (Query main Firmware Version) certainly returns 0020.44.

Because after I updated the firmware the Inverter changed capacity from 5kva to 2.5 kva and read battery as 24 volt instead of 48volt and run fan in 100% of speed and I tried to install another firmware but after update the Inverter does not work and only show the version of firmware on screen so I need firmware 20.43.... Or 20.44. to install it and fix the problem.
Or I need modified version of this software to read battery and capacity true and fix fan problem

you are right

in your case fleshing the firmware could solve it

I was just researching two different firmwares, both 43.05, and they are both either 2500W 24V or 1200W 12V.

The VM firmware numbering is very confusing.

Were you able to download the 20.44 firmware from my link? It at least has the capability of driving a 5 kVA 48 V model.
