July 8, 20215 yr Have anyone had a issue with the Axpert type inverters where say for example the float is set to 55,2 volt. The display indicates 55.2 volt but when you measure the actual voltage on the battery the voltage is 55 volt. The same with the absorb voltage. This only happens on PV and not on grid charge.

The solar charge controller connects internally to the battery "bus"; it's not right at the battery terminals. So there can be a voltage drop across loads, and a voltage rise due to charging, as seen at the battery terminals. There isn't much that can be done about it. I would expect the same discrepancy for utility charging as with solar charging, for models with a high voltage Solar Charge Controller, since for those models, charge power comes through the same path (the DC-DC converter). Is yours a 145 V max PV model? I have noticed minor discrepancies like that (though usually one tenth of a volt, not two) in my 145 V max Axpert MKSs. Edited July 8, 20215 yr by Coulomb
