Have anyone tried to hook up a Victron MPPT to the Solar Assistant unit?
I have a Axpert inverter of which I do not use the internal MPPT?
I have installed a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/85-Tr VE.Can Solar Charge Controller which I can only see via the bluetooth app.

You can link via Voltage Mode USR to the inverter, and connect the battery to Solar Assistant for more stats yes

    Please explain what is scary?
The settings is as per the settings that was given by HUBBLE which is 53.6volt for float, bulk etc. These settings is only used if no comms is setup between the battery and the inverter as the BMS should manage the voltages. The current SOC is sitting at 91% as it is dropping everyday by about 1%. I went through all the training material and videos and did not see anything related to that.

Just an update. Since the Cloudlink installation SOC is all sorted. Not sure if Hubble perhaps upgraded the firmware.

I thought this is why the forum is there, to learn and share about issues. I am new the the Sunsynk inverters as well as lithium battries and hence the questions. So what you saying is I must rather wait until I have 20 questions and hopefully get answers on them. Please let me know what do you suggest?

In my opinion, this is a bit harsh. As an end user, and someone still with lots to learn and lots of questions, I actually personally think its better to have individual threads with clear descriptions and titles which makes it easier to search for key words related to questions or issues I may have. Just my 5c...

Hi, thanks for this diagram. Is this neutral bonding needed at all? What happens if this is not done. I am also bbusy with a 8kw Sunsynk with one Hubble AM-2 for office backup oly. Planning to add panels and more batteries later. Thanks for your insight.

I am also a bit unsure about the correct voltages as on the @HubbleLithium website the setting given is 53.6v for both float and bulk charge as to the setting on the battery plate shows float to be 52,6v. A bit confusing .........

So 6mm2 should be fine for 5.5kw and 10mm2 for the 8kw

Hi Guys so here is another GIVE AWAY!

We are busy with a test and review of the GREENRICH U-P5000 1.5C 4.96 kWh Lithium Battery

Yes we will be giving one away to one lucky Power Forum Member in a Lucky Draw

I will post details on how to qualify for this GIVE AWAY soon watch this space!

Sponsored by Elleyhill Power (PTY) LTD

So some educational information about these batteries

As you all know Greenrich batteries have been in the market for some time now and so far we have had mostly positive feedback from installer and end users alike.

What makes the battery desirable is the 1.5C Rating this means the battery can discharge at 1.5 times its capacity rating.

Why would that be so great?

Here is why if you have a 8KW inverter discharge the battery at 8kWh then this 4.96 kWh battery will be able to absorb a charge rate between 0.5C & 0.75C and a discharge rate at 1.5C without tripping the benefits of that is that when you start of on your solar journey you don't have to break the bank with just one 4.96 kWh Greenrich Battery because your 8KW inverter will struggle to reach the discharge rates of the battery.

The 4.96 kWh is also inter compatible with the 3.686 kWh Greenrich Lithium if you require to expand to additional capacity.

This Lithium battery is the only Lithium battery in the market that offers true 1.5C discharge ratings. With 1.5C discharge rates, the Greenrich lithium battery has a much higher power output compared to other 0.5C or 1C lithium batteries.

The cell technology in the battery is LFP cylindrical high density cells which can do up to 2C however for longevity the BMS limits the discharge  to 1.5C and charger rates to 0.5C continuous and boost charge rate for 5 minutes to 0.75C

Have just installed 2 x Hubble AM-2 with the 5kVA MKS Axpert.  The Website voltage setting for "switch back to grid" is 47V.  Measured on a Victron BMV-700 this equates to only 60% discharge (40% left).  Has anyone else experienced this?  For the rest it runs like a dream.

It works as lithium/custom/user battery type with the voltages specified on the battery, just the SOC according to the Inverter will be "voltage based" which can be janky
