  1. Tried to connect a UP5000 to my system with US3000's. Seemed to work for 2 days, Then gave an error. Spoke to the supplier, and they say it does not work. The manual says it will, but it does not. I took the UP5000 in and the supplier replaced the BMS and says they loaded the correct version of Firmware. Still failed after that. Installed the UP5000 on a system with 1 x US3000C and it looks like it works on this system. My experience is that the UP5000 does not work with the US3000, and the supplier is not very helpfull.
  2. No, I have been using SolarAssistant for six months now. Super stable, not as many features as Icc, I used icc before but it did not support the Axpert Max with dual PV inputs. Now i see they have introduced a fee on the new version.

Good Afternoon, I don't seem to be able to find any reference on your awesome site to the questions / issues i have. So I have decided to stop lurking and dive in. I recently installed an Axpert Max 7200W unit with 2 x arrays of solar panels of 3000W each. and 6 x Pylontech US3000 batteries. Here are my questions, 1- must the 2 x PV arrays have a common Neg line, or should they be separate? ( I have installed them separate ) 2- On the Pylontech batteries, The BMS cable needs dip switch 1 to be set on. Is this only for the master battery, Or for all? ( I currently only have the master one set ) 3- MPPT 1 (3000W ) + MPPT (3000W) makes +-6000W available. The max Battery charge current is 80 Amps (works out at 4000W) Is the Max charge current for each of the MPPT, or is it for the combination? Not sure, but I think i am missing something here? 4- I have an ICC connected, The Battery charge line shows some crazy erratic behaviour. The PV line and Load lines are stable, but the Battery charge line is all over the place. The ICC only shows one MPPT line at this stage. The ICC ability to read the second MPPT is apparently under development. I have switched PV1 and PV2 to confirm that the issue is not coming from the second PV. The result is the same. PV line is stable. Any help on this would be most welcome. Andre Van Rensburg. ( Centurion SA)
