Ok, problem solved. I reached out to SolarAssistant who suggested it might in fact be the CT Coil which is pointing to the wrong direction. I was always "100% sure" i had it installed correctly - because all graphs I've ever seen displayed correct. This implies that the Deye 5K inverter senses the CT is the wrong way around, and corrects/adjust for it to display correct. When I turned it around - it all makes sense again

Yes that's the problem... in reality i'm not exceeding it - there's nothing going on at the moment and the system is only exporting to the grid. Here is my reading (which i know to be accurate) from www.deye-icloudpro.com

I have a 5K Deye which have been working for 3 years+, I export to grid and from all apps I've used seen, the CT clamp appears to be installed at the correct place and i've never had issues interpreting the direction of exporting etc. Recently I installed a SolarAssistant to get more detailed measurements/graphs... but I'm quite puzzled by the "LOAD" graph. What is that exactly? Something doesn't make sense here!! Any advice? (The 3rd image = from Solarman, which displays correctly)

Hi, we have installed a luxpower 5K and is experiencing a voltage drop (to around 180V) on changeover to battery longer than it should. This is resulting in appliance fuses being blown. Any ideas? Is this perhaps a luxpower issue? (connection is to a new dyness 5k lithium)

I have 4x 100ah AGM Batteries (mainly to get though loadshedding), grid tied. I'm curious about the exact correct settings to charge on my Deye 5K and what voltage I should consider "empty, do not cross" Typical loadshedding at night brings battery percentage down to about 86% / 49V after 2 hours Does it make a big difference how fast this type of battery charges?

I have a 5k deye... When the substation blew up a few months ago in pta East/Silverlakes/Wapadrand, I just had my inverter set up. I was quite annoyed that we must have done something wrong... As it switched off by itself! Only to measure the voltage and to find out that because of the massive explosion and kilometres of underground Tshwane power cable that ceased to exist, there was a massive voltage Spike (because they increase the voltage to overcome the voltage drop over such long distances). When that long distance no longer existed, our grid Voltage spiked at 268V and remained there for quite some time. Turned out Nothing wrong with our setup... And very glad to have had an inverter to protect our electronics. I'm kinda inclined to leave it as it is!

I have a set of lead acid batteries on my deye 5k Trying to figure out why I can see the battery on the inverter, and the batteries work when the power is cut... But I don't see the battery on the SOLARMAN app or online. Is there something I have to enable for that to work?

Hi, I added more PV and need to change the ratio... for some reason I don't remember where the setting was to change this... But do sorta remember changing it!! Anyone who can help? I want to change it from 3000W to 6000W

I've been getting this every 5 minutes on my 5K Deye since yesterday It's only a warning, but I'm curious as to why suddenly I have hundreds of warnings! (no red lights on the unit itself) (don't have a battery yet)

What is the latest firmware on the Deye 5K? Where do you get the files from?
