Stephen5 reacted to Yellow Measure in Pylontech vs HubbleYou raise an interesting point: Hubble Lithium have actually bothered to come on the forum and answered many of the questions. I don't see Pylontech / FreedomWon / BYD doing this.
They have also made it clear that they are willing to answer further questions via their official support channels. It's quite a reasonable compromise, because managing social media queries requires a big budget and specialist skills that aren't exactly the core competency of a small company that makes batteries.

Stephen5 reacted to HubbleLithium in Pylontech vs HubbleHi Community,
Seems the forum is decending into just degrading brands and negative commenting which is very unfortunate, as the powerforum is a great wealth of knowledge for power backup and solar enthusiasts.
We're not dodging questions, we dont live on this forum, and we are not affiliated to powerforum. Seems if we dont answer questions immediately then there are negative views. We only check this forum once a week if that. If you have questions please contact us through our official channels or on our website contact form.
For support and technical questions please contact us direct through our official channels, we will be more than happy to assist our clients.

Stephen5 reacted to Tariq in Modest Loadshedding Kitpowerforunm has the AM3 at R16,100 and the AM2 at 25,999, so unless budget is really tight, go for the AM2 in one go, then you are ready to add solar anytime

Stephen5 reacted to Mier in Modest Loadshedding KitIf you could, I would recommend that you try to get the Hubble AM-2. It cost 50% more but gives you double the capacity, which is a lot more headroom. That should give you the ability to run all the lights in your home and you can add more appliances such as fridge / freezer, garage door motors etc.
The AM-3 will quickly be too small when you add solar and you will also be limited to max 2.75kw peak power draw on your inverter.
