Hi. 8x 450w panels connected in series.

Inverter keeps shutting off PV input randomly. I have to shut everything off and after a couple of minutes back on thennit works again untill the next day.

@zsde just a update. The drivers was the problem connecting to the inverter. I made contact with Growatt overseas, got the new drivers and problem solved. New firmware installed so hopefully everything is working properly now.

@hoohloc I also have a spf5000es growatt. I connected pv panels on a month ago. During the day it runs on pv untill around 3pm and then suddenly just cuts off the pv for no reason. I got new firmware to update but my laptop dont want to connect to inverter. Am I doing something wrong? Gonna borrow a friends newer laptop to see if that was maybe the problem.

@zsde thank I will try that first. Inverter is about 2 years old at the most now. I thought of maybe trying another laptop aswell,maybe this ons for some reason wont connect, but I will let you know how it goes. Thanks

@zsde i am still on 41.02 but trying to upload the new firmware now I got from you. I am struggling, the laptop wont connect with the inverter. Can you maybe give me some tips please,i have disconnected utility,disconnected the loads and inverter is set on SUB but only running from the battery with no loads.

Hi guys. I got the new software from @zsde. My problem I have with my inverter onold software is as seen in photo, it runs of pv and just randomly some days at around 3pm it cuts of pv completely and goes back to utility. Have any of yoy had this problem before?

zsde can you send the new firmware to me please? Onmy growatt everything works fine untill I suddenly start pulling a big load from pv, then the inverter cuts off the solar completely even though there should be enough power to pull the loads.

@DynessOk so the only way is to add more battery packs?

@Dyness thanks that makes sense. I think I know what the problem was now. The irrigation pump went on deu to a leaking pipe and I think that is what drew too uch power from the battery. Need to add a few more battery packs for sure.

Hi. It is a B4850 2.4kwh battery pack and is only 1 battery at the moment. It does communicate with the inverter threw comms cable. Set to lithium and protocol 1(the voltage setting are preset for that setting on the inverter if I am correct?). The state of charge was 94% and and voltage was 49.8. I was standing next to it and my wife put on the microwave and it ran for 5 seconds and then just everything goes dark. Never happend before,but with all the loadshedding could it be that the battery maybe was not completely fully charged?

@Dyness I see the batterys alarm light is flickering and making a beeping noise. Could theat be the problem and what could the reason be?

Hi guys. My inverter has been working 100% since last year and updating the battery software. Tonight suddenly during loadshedding my inverter runs on 30% load and then just suddenly shuts down completely. Has anyone had the same problem before?

Yes,they sent me a mail saying it is up to date,but when I phoned they said they got the new firmware and was bussy updating already. But so far everything is running smoothly.

@thoc sorry,appernetly they did update the firmware on the battery.

Maybe yours takes a bit longer to get that last 5% fully charged because of the bigger battery capacity?

That makes sense,when I used the battery to 60% it charged very fast to about 93% and the took a while to get to 100%.but it seems to be working fine.

@tetrasectionwhen mine charges it takes a while(couple of hours) to get from 95% to 100% and then discharges again slowly,about an hour, to 95% again. That is after I got mine back from rectron but it seems to be working correct now, no alarms.

@Dyness The technician from Rectron just contacted me and said that the battery has the latest firmware on,they contacted Dyness and confirmed it with them. What else could be the problem for the inberter showing alarm 03 and 36?

@Dyness took in my battery today to rectron for firmware update so hope everything goes well. Thanks for your help so far.

I am taking my battery in tomorrow to update firmware if everything goes according to plan. I will keep you guys updated how everything goes.🤞
