Hi All I have the above connected to a Hubble AM2 and Mecer Axpert king, it was working perfectly and on the 24th Dec 2022 it stop providing inverter/PV data . This only occurred when Hubble portal server crashed and when it was brought up again the inverter/PV data do not show and it says inverter is not connected. I have checked cables etc all look fine. Has anyone else had this problem on there RIOT device since the portal server crashed? The device has the latest firmware. Hubble is saying inverter port or Riot device port might have failed but I find that theory unlikely as it only happened the day the server crashed. thanks regards Jashwin

Just an update, I have upgrade the firmware 71.97 , but it seems to still do the same thing, I have noticed when we have load shedding (No utility) in the morning before the sun is out, the PV starts working with no restart needed , than when we have loading in the middle of the day when utility goes off PV starts working but when it comes back PV amp start going down to zero with min PV, leading me to believe its related inverter wanting to use Utility as 1st priority instead of Solar when set to SUB mode , I have tried SBU though I don't like cycling my battery but finds that works fine , therefore my theory that Utility seem to be 1st preference for some reason in the software setup. Now not sure how to fix that ,it could be firmware related?. Has anyone seen this or contact Mecer for support would appreciate contact details, thanks

Yes the work well, I had the setup with Hubble and Meccer 5Kva( Axpertking inverter) you can set the battery voltage setting which you can get from the Hubble website, I have since installed the Cloudlink as I want to monitor my solar setup

HI All I been have an issue with above inverter, I have 6 X 480w PV installed (2 panels in series 3strings) with Hubble AM2 5.5kw battery, I run the inverter in SUB mode ( as I dont want to cycle the battery). I have the system for about 2 months, I have noticed after a month sometimes it will drop PV output to 16w with around 92volts but zero amps for 20-30mins even under load and than starts working again, over the last week , it gotten worse like in picture one for about 1.5 hours no amps so PV output is about 16w but I am getting 92v approx during this time. now since last Friday (see pic2) every morning once sun us out , there is no amps with around 92v and only get 16w of PV with load, I have to hard reset the Inverter than it works fine for the day but next morning does the same, zero amp and only 16w PV until I hard reset inverter (turn completely off and on) than it work fine again. Any advice/ideas what going on, I hope it not the MPPT gone faulty? inverter is 14 months old, on the screen the MPPT sign comes on fine and goes off when on there is no sunlight. every thing else work well i.e when there loading shedding etc.. Thanks both for the input, see attached pics, with the PV volt at 131v and at 20amp the wattage was around 1600w (sorry didnt get a screen shot) but Coulomb point makes a bit of sense I see when monitoring it today via Hubble riot software the PV watts seem to jump from 1500w to zero and it did it a few times. I have asked the installer to come rewire as per Coulomb suggestion 2S(panels)3P(strings) as I am also worried the solar control wont last with the 130+volts it keep getting

hi, I am getting the reading via the inverter so it actually figures. the guy also used a multi meter to check sting voltage. panel are on 25 degree roof facing north north east

HI All I have question please , I have the above inverter in SUB mode with 6 x 480w PV in 2 strings of 3 panel each which gives about (120v-130v) and get 17amp-19amp ( panes were installed today). My question working out the wattage using the Volts x amp , I should get 120x 17 =2040w but inverter shows almost half 1000w. Is there a setting I have wrong on the inverter or am I missing something? Inverter had default setting except for SUB mode and battery setting. please any advice would be helpful Regards Jashwin

Hi all I have been trying to replace my 4x 12v 100ah gel batteries with a min 4.8kwh lithium ion battery, but it seem only the pylontech up5000 is an option that will work with my inverter due to connectivity via cable, few question 1. Can the pylontech UP 5000 be wall mounted without any issues 2. Have any of you used this setup and does it work well? 3. Are there any other Lithium ion battery options I can look at 4. the Pylontech UP5000 has a5 warranty, yet US2000 and US300 version the small output have 10 years, any reason for concern around this? thanks regards Jashwin

Thanks 87, I dont have solar panels yet . I get what you saying about just passing the power thru but I worry as I load the plugs I can hear the fan start to run hard like the inverter is working an needs cooling, that make me think is not just passing the power thru, also I see it seems cleans the AC feed from Eskom before it send it out. I just hoping I dont have a expensive bill it I go over 5kw as warranty wont cover it. regards Jashwin

Hi, it's a king from what I have read. option 1 is set UTI. I dont understand why the load is through the inverter although eskom is on, I have checked the watts and Kw load and it goes to 3.7kw and more depending on what appliance is plugged in.

Hi I have had the above 5kw hybrid inverter installed yesterday and it replaced a 2kw Powerstar IR standard inverter( both have 4x 100ah batteries).my question is with the old inverter the load was 0% when eskom power was on even when I used eg a heater on the plugs that ran via the inverter, now with the new inverter I see it has load on the inverter continuously on even when the eskom power is on. the unit is set to utility first option. I am now worried that I will blow up the inverter if there more than 5kw are loaded onto it even though eskom power is feeding it. I have tried to put unit into bypass mode by turning unit off but notice the load is still present on the screen. pls can someone guide if am doing something wrong or worrying for nothing. below is pic of unit in normal mode. the installer tells me I need to install a auto power bypass switch to fix the issue of loading the inverter continuously, thanks Rgds Jashwin

Hi, I have the above 5KW hybrid invertor installed this week , replacing a older standard Power Star IR 2kw Inverter (I also have 4 X 110ah batteries connected) , my question is with my old inverter, when there was power the invert had 0% load on it and I was able to run things such as a heater ,hairdryer etc..on plugs that could be used when power is off, as the system just feed the electricity to the plug points without putting load on the inverter, with this new inverter I now see that there is load continually on the inverter and I am worried I will blow up the inverter if we run more than 5kw in items at once, I see by turning the power off on the inverter it goes into bypass mode but I notice on the panel that there is still load on the inverter, please can someone guide me, the installer says I need a automatic power change over switch? The installer has said he has setup the inverter to use the Eskom power first Thanks Jashwin
