Turbine should always run through it's own charge controller to battery. I think the midnight classic is the right one then you must add the dump load ... The kestrel is not braked so must have dump load. Except if it is the 3.5 kW. Let me know also how it went !

Hi Guys I have a freedom won 30/24 Battery with 2X SunSynk 5KW inverters, and i am looking to ad another battery to the system (for off grid) also a freedom Won in the future but a smaller size like the 15/12 or the 10/8 just for that days where the little bit more storage power is needed, is it possible to do so, by adding the smaller battery as an stand alone unit but also connected to the same inverters and the same PV input to charge? Must i add an extra charge controller? Does Anyone have experience in this or have done the same?
