Anyone managed to read data from me3000sp yet ? I have connected ME3000SP via 485s port using a 485 to usb converter, the laptop sees the usb converter ok but the inverter is not detected, I have tried reversing the 2 wire connection on the 485 to usb converter still no data, so I could have a faulty converter or simply the software does not support ME3000sp ?

If you crack it please let us know I am in the same position inverter data not seen, I havent gone down the RPi route yet but it looks likely thats where ill end up

if you have "C" class pylontechs the pinouts are different if using the console port on Pylon to RS232 DB9 pinouts that have worked for me are: RJ45 pin 3 to DB9 pin 2 RJ45 pin 6 to DB9 pin 3 RJ45 pin 8 to DB9 pin 5 Where RJ45 is console port on pylon master battery only.

which 485 port did you use m or s ? I will be wiring mine in tomorrow will report back any issues

Anyone running Sofar ME3000SP inverter on Multisib if so can you please post port used on inverter and all connection details and any parts used ie usb to 485 converter etc.

I made a cable for the console port on master US3000c rj45 one end and DB9 the other plugged into serial port on my trusty old laptop Pinouts rj45 pin3 to db9 pin2 rj45 pin6 to db9 pin3 rj45 pin8 to db9 pin5 Software found all 3 batteries in the stack and is working great. now I need to connect my Sofar ME3000SP to the lappy which is where I am struggling a bit. I have a serial to usb converter but dont know if i can connect that to 485m or 485s ports on the inverter or if I have to get a 485 to usb converter.

I have V3.06 but it is only for "C" class pylontech battery it allows 90% DOD other than that it is same as previous version
