  1. Also worth having a look here for installers https://www.pvgreencard.co.za/reg/installers/inst-directory.php can filter by location which is quite handy
  2. Thanks for the detail, am still a bit torn, is there any reason to choose the hybrid version over the SNA if you dont plan to feedback to the grid? The inverter will be in the garage so the fan doesn't really bother me and it seems to cover everything else I would need.
  3. Hi Looking for some advice, I am looking to do a solar install for my house and am looking at the Luxpower 5kw off grid inverter but I see this isn't on the approved list by City of Cape Town. I see the Hybrid version is on there, but before I spend the extra to get the hybrid version, is there any reason the CoC wouldnt be approved with the off-grid? I am not looking to feed back power to grid. Thanks
  4. I am busy looking at this at the moment. Got a few quotes but seems to work out quite a bit cheaper to purchase the main components online, then get an installer to do the install. Also keen for some other recommendations
  5. Hi, I know this thread is on hybrid unit but I've been looking at the SNA off grid unit and wondering if it would be an issue installing it in Cape Town? As only the hybrid unit is on the approved list. Thanks
