  1. Hi, Batteries were sold last year.
  2. Hi, I sold my batteries a few weeks ago. Regards
  3. Hi, I have a swollen Pylontech US2000B. Let me know if anyone is interested.
  4. Hi Everyone, I have a swollen Pylontech US2000B. Its no longer in use, was replaced with a Dyness battery. Anyone know what I should do with it. Dispose, sell, refurbish?
  5. Hi Coulomb, Is it possible that your two US2000s are not connected correctly? The inverter's positive lead should connect to one, and the negative lead to the other inverter. Otherwise, one of the US2000s does more of the work, discharging more fully. I attached a photo of how they are connected. Are they of different ages? In that case, the internal resistance of one may be higher than the other. Same age, both been running for about 2 years. About 2 months ago I found that my 'bulk charge voltage' was set to 56v for some reason, so I brought that down to 53.1v and float charge volts to 52.5v. I note that one reads as 15 Ah and the other as 20 Ah. These figures seem very low, unless those figures represent present capacity, not capacity when fully charged. Yes, these figures are for present capacity based on the SOC as seen in the image as well. Both batteries charge to 100% daily without any issues. I also swopped the two batteries around making the secondary the master and vise versa, but had the same results. Their SoC differ by about 10% when they are at 80% DoD.
  6. Hi Everyone, Current setup 1x Kodak OG-Plus 5.48 with 2x US2000 Pylontech batteries. My questions is regarding the battery equalization setting available within the inverter settings. Reason I'm looking into this is because I recently noticed that my batteries don't run down to the same SOC before switching back to grid supply. e.g. battery 1 would be @ 18%SOC while battery 2 would be @28%SOC. My inverter will then switch back to Grid due to battery 1 being below the critical threshold however there is still some charge left in battery 2 which could be used. Even when charging you can see the 10% difference in SOC (attached) Any advice would be appreciated.
  7. Thanks Coulomb, I'm just trying to source the right cable then I will proceed with the firmware upgrade. Is it necessary to upgrade the display as well?
  8. Morning Sam, Thanks for the reply. I attached a screenshot with more details from that day (selected in blue), here we can see the 'Load Max' was 3.95kw and the 'Max PV' was 3.62kw. This seems to still be well within the rated specs of the inverter which are 4kw max PV input and 5kw max AC output. In my understanding should the load spike to say 4.5kw, the PV's should be able to supply 4kw max and the remaining 500w should be supplied from the grid. Is there perhaps a setting on the inverter that I can check which should initiate the reset you mentioned?
  9. In the image below you can see what the load did while the PV input bombed out. My 2kw geyser was running at the time so you can see that the PV was sufficient for the entire load, then the PV (green) dropped, battery (blue) took over until it ran low, then it switched to grid (red) and that continued for the rest of the day.
  10. Wish I got the one without the PLUS then, It uses the PV's perfectly most of the time, its just randomly every now and then when they are kicked out. The inverter would be charging the batteries one day and running at 3400+ watts from the panels, then all of a sudden it just drops to 0 watts from the panels and stays like that until the inverter is restarted. Then after that it does not happen for a few days. This does not happen every day so thats why I was wondering if its firmware, or perhaps a spike of some sorts with the volts or amps that triggers a safety limit on the inverter. Attached you can see a graph from Saturday when this happened.
  11. Thanks for the reply guys, Yes, the max volts for this inverter is problematically low, so thats why I have to use a weird sting layout to keep the voltage at a safe level. I attached a photo of the inverter specs, hopefully its readable. Let me try and get hold of Coulomb and see if he can advise me on a way forward.
  12. Morning Everyone, I need some advice regarding my Kodak inverter. I added 2 additional 550w solar panels last week bringing my total to 4240w (4x 2 panels per string, PV voltage hovers around 90v) The inverter has now on 2 occasions dropped all PV input during the day, I then either have to manually restart the inverter or wait until the next day for everything to resume as normal. Current firmware is 71.97 Could this problem be resolved by upgrading to a newer firmware?

  14. Are these batteries compatible with an Axpert inverter?
  15. Hi Everyone, Has anyone spent some time Device Control tab in MultiSIBControl to get those notifications working through pushsafer? My goal is to e.g. turn on my geyser as soon as my batteries are @ 100%. Still looking for the best way to accomplish this. Any help would be appreciated.

  17. I'm currently using the MultiSIBControl software for my solar monitoring, works well and helps me tremendously. Are you using something similar?
