  1. Why 2c? My cells are 304ah EVE. What settings would I need to change to get 190A or near it?
  2. Hi, I don't even seem to be getting those values. The Sunsynk app has charging at 143A during that period. I have 4 battery packs using Seplos 200A BMS.
  3. Hi, thanks this is in winter when I don't get enough solar. In summer it's fine.
  4. Hi, I have a Sunsynk 8kw and 60kw lifepo4 battery pack. All works well, but I only have a 4 hour charging period on my Octopus tariff and in winter I'm not able to fully charge my batteries. Could someone recommend a way of being able to fully charge? Not sure if this is the right section to ask. Thanks Peter

Hi, anyone created a usable DIY flow battery?
  6. They are down to 20% when charging starts and stop at 75%. I only have a charging window of 4hrs on my Octopus tariff so want to charge as much as possible in that window. It’s a constant amp through the charge.
  7. Hi, my SunSynk is only charging my batteries at 140amps. I’ve set the charge on SunSynk to 185amp and I see the charge current limit on LiBMS screen displays 300amps. Am I missing a setting? System Sunsynk 8.8kw inverter 3 x 15kw DIY battery packs each with Seplos 200amp BMS 4.5kw Solar PV AC coupled Peter
  8. Hi, no in the end I moved the pi next to the inverter and wired in directly to USB.
  9. @kellerzaThanks do I need to set anything on W630? I'm getting errors when I start. 10. Hi @kellerza, I've installed the add ons whats the difference between standard and dev? I've decided to use a USR-W630 because my inverter is too far from the pi. Does anyone know what the configuration should look like for the Sunsynk add-on and the W630 interface?
  11. Hi, I'm new to this topic and home assistant. I have a Sunsynk 8.8kw are people using @kellerzaexcellent add on, or the original brilliant code from @Bloubul7? I have noticed @jacaucrepo hasn't changed since sept 21. Also, I noticed that @kellerzaadd on now writes to the inverter. 1) would I be able to update date/time 2) would I be able to change System mode to change my charging profile based on the next days weather Thanks Peter
  12. Hi, I have a 48v battery (16 x 304ah eve) with jk bms can (b2a24s20p) and SunSynk 8.8kw hybrid inverter. I have another set of batteries on order. Ideally I would like the batteries and inverter to communicate. I know it’s not essential. I’ve seen on the diysolarforum the Seplos BMS that does communicate with the SunSynk and between other battery packs. So I may switch if I can’t get the jk to communicate.
  13. Thanks, would this be the float, absorption and equalisation settings? I am using JKBMS but left the values the same after I entered cell count and battery capacity. Which figures should I be looking at? Sorry very nooby questions. Is it possible to get Wi-Fi module for the JKBMS?
  14. I’m quite new to this, I have a 48v battery pack. What would the sensible values to put in the inverter? In the manual it says if no communication treat as AGM?
  15. Hi, can you contact me about this? I would like my JkBms can communicate with my SunSynk.
  16. Hi, I’ve created a DIY battery with a JKBMS. When I try to connect to the SunSynk inverter it doesn’t communicate. The JKBMS has canbus built in. Has anybody been able to connect the two? Advice would be great. Rj45 gnd - 2 h - 4 l - 5 JKBMS gnd - red wire h - black l - yellow SunSynk selected Can and protocol 0. Thanks
