  2. Hi All, we have added the Sunsynk version tracker to our free portion of our PVBiz Web App. You can check the top 10 latest versions per inverter rated power as well as the 3 most used versions. - It gets updated weekly This covers all 1Phase Low Voltage and 3Phase High Voltage. Low Voltage 3Phase are combined for now and work in progress https://app.pvbiz.co.za/sunsynk-fleet-versions Let me know if you have any questions or feedback :)
  3. I'll share the full list , however for your 1Phase 16KW, the latest versions are as follows Master 9.0.2.8 HMI : E.4.4.3 Software 1.7.2.6 There are around 400 Inverters running with the latest 9.0.2.8 Software across the world Nope, for firmware upgrades you have to contact sunsynk or via your installer, sunsynk makes this more difficult than it needs to be
  4. Lol have to keep the sources anonymous :) And no, don't work for them. Have both the Synsynk and Solark info.
  5. The above is as mentioned all for single phase inverters and only the master versions, can publish the HMI and slave versions as well if you want(You get a 12kW SP as well), and the 50kW 3Phase. Working on the 3Phase data , as due to Sunsynk standards they don't have proper naming like all the other inverters. Already have the 12kw 3P, latest master version is 2005-1175, will publish full list once its complete
  6. Here are the latest versions and details for global Sunsynk rollout, left out a couple which have very little deployment like 20kw, all Single Phase and 50kW 3Phase - As of 2025-12-13 If you need anything specific let me know. 2nd Latest Version Latest Version Most Common Number of Inverters 3.6kW 3.1.6.2 3.3.6.3 2.3.8.1 11296 5kW 3.3.8.7 3.3.8.8 3.3.8.2 51505 6kW 4.3.8.5 4.3.8.8 4.0.1.4 143 8kW 6.0.2.7 6.0.2.8 6.0.2.2 53379 10kW B.0.2.7 B.0.2.8 B.0.2.4 747 12kW A.0.2.8 B.0.2.6 A.0.2.4 554 16kW 9.0.2.7 9.0.2.8 9.0.2.2 7371 50kW 3103-F081 3103-F097 3102-1061 3366
  7. The current fuses which are used with SPD's clearly state they should not be opened under load. Would this then be legally/compliant installed using just 2 fuses and spd's and no DC isolator? Fuses used are Suntree SRD-30 DC1100V . 10x38 (PV is 1 string of 6 panels of 545W)
  8. Hi Guys, I would like to get some info before makings some decisions and also ensure system is complaint to avoid insurance issues later on. When was it a legal requirements when installing solar that you have DC Breakers installed between incoming pv and the inverter, so that you can isolate the PV Strings when needed? Currently there are only fuses, and essentially you cannot isolate the pv strings during the day safely. Installer wants to charge for doing this, stating that it's a new regulation? Regarding the solar panels earthing, Should each panel be connected together from a single source down to the earth spikes or is it allowed to connect the earth wire to the first panel, and then jump between them, daisy chaining. Basically what I am trying to understand if there is a break between 2 panels for the earth then the earthing will not work how it should. Any break between any panels should not break earthing as a whole - Just want the legal requirement here to ensure its compliant and no issues when insurance time comes.... Thanks
  9. @trevorinrsa & @Praemon, if you are still looking for a solution to this, you can check out https://pvbiz.co.za which provide battery SOC level notifications direct to you via Whatsapp and Telegram and much more.
  10. If you are looking for more reliable and customized direct notifications for your SunSynk Inverter direct via Whatsapp, Telegram and more for Grid, Battery Levels, Inverter AC/DC Temperatures, and basically any metric the inverter collects, you can look at https://pvbiz.co.za, no additional hardware needed. The option to set multiple battery SOC Level notifications in itself have assisted many customers to avoid their battery running down completely, due to grid being down and misbehaving smart switches not being switched off to conserve battery.
  11. Hi @Scorp007, we report correctly in the correct units for load, as you can see in our Whatsapp notification as well as Reporting. In Watts or kW I see there is a typo on the Website for the Free Subscription Load which shows kWh, Will get that fixed asap:), thanks for that
  12. @HeinDuPlessis If you are still looking for an easy solution you can have a look at PVBiz https://www.pvbiz.co.za/ They provide direct Whatsapp notifications for any metric your Inverter provides to your cloud platform including grid on/off, no additional hardware needed and very reliable and close to real time. Ciao
  13. @JayN Bit late to your post, if you are still looking for an easy way to get notified, you can look at PVBiz https://www.pvbiz.co.za/ They provide direct Whatsapp notifications for any metric your Inverter provides to your cloud platform including grid on/off, no additional hardware needed and very reliable and close to real time. Ciao
  14. Hi Guys I wanted to get some info on adding the following to my gate motor, while keeping the AC Charging as well, using a gel battery. 1. 30W Solar Panel 2. 20A Charge Controller I wanted to get some feedback from anyone that has done this before. Can you just directly connect the battery outputs on the Charge controller directly to the battery terminals? When grid is available it should do most of the charging and the charge controller should back off ? The charge Controller should regulate to ensure the battery doesn't overcharge, but wanted to get some real world info on who has done this and were there any hiccups etc? Thanks
  15. Hi All I wanted to get some input regarding regulations regarding the wiring for a newly bought house, which was issued with a COC upon transfer to me. We have a gate motor, which has an isolator switch at the gate, which is wired into the DB Board onto a 20A CB, together with a cable which connects the plugs from the Living room, Dining room as well as 2 other rooms. As far as I can read, the Gate motor should be on a separate CB in the DB Board, is this correct? Thanks in advance
