  1. Hi @TheRoDent, I double checked and it was off for some reason. Switched it on and all the info showed up. Thank you very much.
  2. I've followed the instructions on https://solar-assistant.io/help/home-assistant/setup When I test the mqtt broker on my SolarAssistant using mosquitto_sub I do see: solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_voltage_1/state 288.5 solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_voltage_2/state 299.5 solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_power_1/state 2447 solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_current_3/state 9.4 solar_assistant/inverter_1/device_mode/state Hybrid solar_assistant/inverter_1/grid_voltage/state 238.3 solar_assistant/inverter_1/generator_power/state 0 solar_assistant/inverter_1/ac_output_frequency/state 50.13 solar_assistant/inverter_1/grid_power_ld/state -2352 solar_assistant/inverter_1/load_power_non-essential/state -52 solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_voltage_3/state 245.5 solar_assistant/inverter_1/ac_output_voltage/state 237.9 solar_assistant/inverter_1/load_power/state 4524 solar_assistant/inverter_1/pv_power_2/state 2532 solar_assistant/total/battery_power/state 0 solar_assistant/total/battery_state_of_charge/state 100 solar_assistant/total/battery_temperature/state 29.3 But on HomeAssistant under devices I only see 1 device and 1 entity (Deye/SunSynk/Sol-Ark Response). No other sensors or entities are loading. Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this? Thanks

  4. I'm amazed that neither Sunsynk, Hubble or Riot has any way to alert me when the SOC is low. It seems like an important feature. I would be able to switch off non-essentials to conserve power. How do you guys catch low SOC in time?
  5. I have the same problem, except re-plugging it did not work. I also see there's no inverted data coming through on the riot cloud app. Could it be that the Sunsynk (6mo old 16kw) blown it's data port somehow ?

  7. I do, for the rest of the house, but I like the dimming and RGB offered by the other brands - it's for my movie room.
  8. Are there Sonoff downlight bulbs available yet? Or any downlight bulbs that's compatible with the ewelink app?

  10. Is there a sonoff (or ewelink compatible) device that will allow me to plug in my normal 3 prong appliances and switch them remotely? Something like the attached but Ewelink compatible. I used to buy the Sonoff Basic but then I still have to wire a janus and three prong plug to it and then it hangs off the wall socket and becomes expensive, time consuming and messy.

  12. The new version will be too wide in my db box (62mm!) so I'm considering getting more of these: https://www.robofactory.co.za/smart-switches/167-63a-1p-smart-circuit-breaker-with-monitoring-ewelink.html but I'm not sure if it can be flashed to tasmota as well? TOMZ seems to make a very cheap version here.
  13. Thanks all!

I'm very excited for this section. I use sonoff products a lot to automate and measure my solar requirements. I also use products that are not sonoff but also use ewelink. Can we post about that here, also? For example there is a very nice 63A compact wifi breaker with din-rail compatibility that Sonoff unfortunately does not have. My first question - where can I find the 16A POW2 unit? Seems to be out of stock?
  16. Thank you so much @GreenFields, mine was set to 100A, so I've set it now to 70A. Batteries are full so I can't tell yet. Unfortunately it will probably also limit my solar charging capacity. I'll confirm tomorrow.
  17. After loadshedding, my Sunsynk 16kw inverter draws dangerous levels of power from the grid to recharge the batteries - around 5kw, add that to the geysers starting up and it causes my mains breaker to trip frequently. Is there a way to limit the amount of grid based recharge KW to use? I do not want to limit my solar based recharge KW. The "Power Limit" Column under the System Mode menu simply does not work. At 2000Watt it gets ignored and my batteries charge at 5000Watt regardless what I enter there. Is this a bug? Many thanks

  20. The forms are the easy part. But I've been trying to reach them for months on this, emailing documentation, waiting in calls just to be terminated when I'm caller number 4. I have case numbers and filled in forms. So maybe if they read this thread they can contact me for a change.
  21. No worries thanks I don't see that option on mine, sounds like what I need though. Thanks.
  22. Thanks! Does that not limit the overall power? i.e. if I make that 2000 (from 16000) would it not limit the overall PV and or load capability ? From the manual: "This controls the maximum overall power, both to the ‘Load’ and ‘Grid’ ports combined. It is set to Low if an ‘over-current’ fault occurs" Sounds like it will turn my 16KW inverter into a 2KW inverter? I just need to limit the feed to the grid.
