    @McGuywer - it did switch on and even lasted for 10 minutes for the router and then beeps started. This was almost a year ago though. It worked fine for almost 2 years giving about 2+ hours for router & ONT device so I suspect it is just battery and not the ups mechanism that is issue ?

    If anyone wants for spares or experiment etc. If no interest, it gets dropped to makro bin. Can't find cables yet but will try. Lying around in garage. I think last time it worked for 10 minutes for a router and then I bought something from GeeWiz https://www.takealot.com/rct-2000va-line-interactive-ups/PLID32714413 Collection only from Midrand area.
