  2. Sorry, thought this post is purely about the give away, why the mixing...?
  3. If nobody wants it, please give it to me...😂
  4. Hi, I am a solar solutions integrator and always looking for good products to add to my list of reliable products, I will need to obviously have access to a real world installation to get data for this product.
  5. I need the cable urgently, based on KZN South Coast, please contact me if you can provide one. Thx JB
  6. Thx 4 the info. I am not looking for trouble shooting advice, purely brand related success stories. I am not seeing success stories for cheaper inverters, just endless problem stories on hello peter.
  7. Thx so much for this share, It helps a lot already. My Livoltek story, 5kw off grid model basically boils down to the inverter not up to the rigors of south african loadshedding and possibly also a bug in their firmware as it reports battery problems even when setup with no batteries. The first Livoltek setup I had was with genuine lead acid batteries but it actually destroyed those from giving about 6 hours service during stage 6 loadshedding in the start and only giving 10 minutes 2 months later and the inverter itself broke down refusing to work with solar / grid / no battery configurations, Livoltek then replaced the inverter and it was working for a short while and then another replacement inverter and so the story goes...full cycle..until I used their recommended installer to do the 3rd replaced inverter installation, it lasted only 4 months....:( :(....cost me lots of time, money and frustration, life is not supposed to be like that. Thats why I want to hear success stories before I choose new hardware. My son has told me he had problems with Axpert type inverters but now had a Deye installed by his insurance and with no problems whatsoever for a very long time, like Deye has been working for him now 100% for a long time.
  8. Hi, thx for your post, my setup has been certified by a Livoltek approved supplier. I do wish to have success stories shared of brands lasting longer than one year per my question.
  9. I burned my fingers with 5kw Livoltek inverter using 2x LifePO4 batteries setup as Lead Acid. The initial inverter and replacements never lasted more than 4 months. What is considered reliable brands for 5KW inverters by the community? I do not want to be disappointed again. Thanking you. JB
  10. Hi, hope someone can point me in the right direction: I have a 5kw Livoltek off grid inverter and have been gifted 2x Schubart Life 3kw batteries. I found a communication cable from Pilontech at a dealer which according to Livoltech should work with the inverter. I cannot find any info on the Schubart batteries though although they have a "RS485" and "Rs232" port each, will it be safe to connect the one with the RS485 port to the BMS port on the inverter and see if it works? Any other advice would also be welcome.
  11. Hi, did you buy their batteries too? How is the inverter performing?
