Oberfail reacted to PeterJE in High pitched noise from Sunsynk 5 kW inverterI contacted [email protected] and they very kindly remotely updated my software to 3.3.8.4 and enabled low noise mode, which changed the switching frequency to 20khz.
The irritating 15khz noise is gone now!

Oberfail reacted to DamnedDutch in High pitched noise from Sunsynk 5 kW inverterI can also confirm that the firmware update sorted out the noise for anyone interested. And this from a GoSolr customer nogal...

Oberfail got a reaction from cndavel in High pitched noise from Sunsynk 5 kW inverterI must correct myself. After updating to version 3384, a new option appeared.
Settings -> Battery -> Page 2 -> Low Noise mode
Enabling this setting shuts the inverter down, "Grid Mode changed" appears on the screen and after roughly 1 minute it turned on again. Now the frequency is moved from audible 15 kHz to barely audible 20 kHz. This is a very huge improvement.

Oberfail reacted to DiSiNTiGR8 in High pitched noise from Sunsynk 5 kW inverterWhen I was trying to figure out the buzzing on my setup I isolated the inverter everywhere except on its grid input. I also switched the house over to Eskom again. So the inverter was basically just another consumer from the grid like other appliances. It still sent the 15000Hz through appliances in this case.

Sadly, the 15kHz noise is still there. There are a few new settings under the Battery section, something along the lines of "Quite Mode" is what you are looking for, to change it from 15kHz to 20Khz.
Update file and manual, to update from 3382 to 3384 only for the specified inverter model. Some updates require an additional LCD update, so if you run a version older than 3382, i do not suggest you to update. https://workupload.com/file/M4WMQxJSjQd

Oberfail reacted to Nexuss in High pitched noise from Sunsynk 5 kW inverterNot totally sure but you will get F13 error on the inverter saying grid mode changed and then it resets.
