Pbms tools setup windows 11
Hi @Beat thank you for this. I have tried this by clicking on the folder and going to properties and unpicking read only. This did not resolve the issue. @Moffat I have also tried updating drivers and it say the drivers are up ro date. Thank you for trying to assist. I will provide an update if I resolve this

First time on/off switching.
As per chatgpt๐ For a safe startup of your new solar system, follow this sequence: 1. Pre-Check Ensure all connections (solar panels, battery, inverter, and load) are correctly wired and secure. Verify that the battery is charged and within its operating voltage range. Check that circuit breakers (AC and DC) are OFF before starting. 2. Power-Up Sequence 1. Turn on the battery first โ This ensures the inverter has a stable power source before receiving solar input. 2. Turn on the inverter โ The inverter will detect the battery and initialize. 3. Turn on the solar PV disconnect/breaker โ The inverter will now start using solar power. 4. Turn on the AC output breaker โ This will allow the inverter to supply power to loads. 3. System Check Monitor the inverter display or app to ensure proper operation. Check that the battery is charging and the PV input is stable. Verify that loads are receiving power correctly. Shutdown Sequence (if needed) 1. Turn off AC output breaker 2. Turn off solar PV disconnect 3. Turn off inverter 4. Turn off battery

Luxpower sna5000 discharge issue
I managed to resolve this issue. Adding it here incase anyone is looking in future. I was going to update the firmware so I opened the covers for the battery. I then noticed there was no communication cable between the 2 batteries. Once I added the communication cable it stopped the discharging issue I mentioned above. I also had an issue where it will discharge(when there was sufficient pv to power loads and won't charge up again until until the battery went to 94%( 52.9v) this changed once the comms cable was added. Now if the battery discharges a bit due to low pv power it would charge back up irrespective of the battery % The strange thing is that it worked find as it was for more than a year since it was installed and I one day noticed the issue out of the blue although it never had the comms cable between the batteries.

Luxpower sna5000 battery charging and Discharge settings
Hi all. I hope you are all well. I too have this issue. I have 2 greenrich batteries and 2 sna5000's. This worked perfectly for a while and then all of a sudden I found this issue. I know luxpower had quite a fee updates so I'm wondering if there is a new setting that needs to be updated. I can see in my monitoring app thay the battery is discharging and if I reduce the load by switching off the heat pump and pool pump it reduces the pv power draw and still continue to discharge the battery. If I switch the loads back on, it will draw from the pv but still continue to discharge the battery. Any help would be great. Thank you

Luxpower sna5000 discharge issue
Hi all. I have an issue I'm hoping someone would be able to help with. I have 2 luxpower sna5000 with 2 greenrich wm5000. The system has been running smoothly for a year now, except recently I have noticed that at a certain time of the day, the inverter doesn't charge the battery. Even when there is sufficient solor power available. If I switch of items to create surplus pv power it just won't charge. It won't charge even when I select quick charge. All settings are as they were before and ran without any issues. I did see a new button on the config page called "Rule" and was wondering what this setting was for and if this could be the problem. Any assistance would be appreciated Deez

Voltronic VS Luxpower
I have the luxpower sna5000 for around 3 months now so cannot provide much information on the longevity of them, but they have been amazing since installed. I have 2 of them and they run my geyser, pool pump and charge the battery with ease... my only gripe is the monitoring app which is down quite often... as I type this there seems to be an issue with it and I cannot monitor what is going on. Support is also really great if you email them... WhatsApp message never get attended to or even read, so not sure why they have a WhatsApp number for support
