They were provided as new due to warrantee replacements. The cycle count as reported by the BMS indicated as such. I am not familiar with how the manufacture date and stock proliferation from China relates as these are older model bateries.

Yes - for the entire load shed period anytime during the day and the batteries need charging. (Obviously when the batteries SOC is 100% then it just sits on base load) You would see the difference in charging.. On SEMS you may see something like this even though the time granularity is lower.

3x 2.4KW pylontech batteries and 10X330w panels. I have on-grid discharge set to 30% at the moment, so depending on day charge and eve loadshedding at 7am SOC is anywhere between 40% and 30%. SOC is usually reached by midday, except when I have a load shedding session then this pushes it to late afternoon if it reaches 100% SOC at all.

Nope, The house consumption is pretty constant (between 200 -500w) with no real spikes as such, most of the time panels would cover everything I can possibly through without reverting to battery. This is something that is constantly happening during loadshedding regardless of load.

I have a GoodWe 5048ES (FW 2525H) and have noticed that during load shedding on a good, clear sun day the inverter will charge the battery from pulling from panels. The problem is that it cycles the draw from the panels. It drops down to only pulling base load, slowly climbs to panel peak production, draws that for a minute or so and then drops back down to base load. It is not very noticeable through SEMS Portal, but you can see it through PV Master and clearly through Home-Assistant. This seriously impedes the time to charge the batteries, especially in winter. Goodwe is just saying I need to change to backup mode or buy more panels.. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this behavior ? Attached you can see HA when it is "normal" vs when loadshedding occurs.
