  1. Since 14:10 today, my Sunsynk 5,6kw inverter has stopped supplying power to my house. Inverter has power but not supplying? Tried the reset thing for hours now, nothing!

  3. Hi Fahim, apparently your Bi-directional meter is much more accurate than the Sunsync inverter. As I understand it the inverter records only every 5 minutes, while the city council meters every second. (That's why they're so expensive). I have noticed this myself. When I boil the kettle for coffee every morning, (it takes about 3 minutes) my graf sometimes doesn't even show a spike like the pic attached.
  4. So, I was Super excited with my new 5Kw Sunsynk inverter (installed 2 July '23) feeding back into the grid (Bi-directional meter installed 5 July '23)and was well on the way to have a zero electrical bill until Eskom started load shedding during the day again. Losing 2 hours of Grid feedback at 4.5 kwh (9 Kw) every day. I was reading all the blogs and reviews trying to see how I can maximize my PV. I noticed that it doesn't matter what you set your System Mode Battery percentage to, once your Solar kicks in it will priorities Battery charge before it starts feeding back to the grid. I have 2 x 5.3Kw Sunsynk Batteries. Since I have the convenience to feed back to the Grid, my aim was to use the Grid as my "3rd" battery. So to prolong my battery's lifespan I did not use them at a during the night. I had a brainwave (which is very rare) and did the following: 1. to use the batteries at night and let them deplete to 45%. 2. Set the Battery charge to 10 or 5 Amps (hoping it will not prioritize Solar to Battery) so that it can start feeding Back to the grid earlier. 3.Once Load shedding kicks in set the Battery charge to 80 Amps to maximize Solar PV. And the end result was ....it works!!!😎

  6. HI guys, Our Estate's third party electricity supplier let's us export to the grid. We get a 1 on 1 Kwh return (Nice!). My Bi-directional meter was installed on 5 July and I have monitored the readings on a daily basis, with great enthusiasm. There is a huge difference between what my Sunsynk inverter says what I have exported and what the Bi-directional Meter says. Has anyone experienced this? I have queried my Supplier about this but I am still waiting for an answer from them.
