  1. Thanks I learned the hard way kettle comp doesn't work on a 6.2 and if its loaded and the first main board goes up in smoke do not put that same control card in a other main board to see if the main board is the fault unfortunate for me after board 3 I learned that Just think something like a compatibility chart or index would be something to look at but it will go with trail and error Tracing the growatt board and referencing it to one of you Circuit diagrams it is quite similar the board i did was quite old but the control card is the reason I posted in the first place it comes with a 14 pin display connector where all the others i have either have a 8 pin molex or 8 pin diag was trying to get the round "touch" display to work with the growatt board but thank you
  2. I have A slightly Strange question about the voltronics and voltronic clones What is the difference I have mixed 5 star Kodak and mercer cards with the grow watt cards all more or less similar by the Eye but there must be a way to determine which cards not to mix with other for example the 5kw Card and 6.2 doesn't mach on the control card but the 5.6 does match and works well the 6.2 scc card doesn't fit the 5kw but the 6.2 does then the growatt control card (old version) not supporting newer display and V2 mppt cards So basically what actually matches what.I used 5 star firmware on Kodak and visa versa all working Coulumb Firmware about the kettle doesn't work on a 6.2 It blow the main board to bits and pieces but works on Kodak 5 and 5.6 on all of the card does some one have any research on what can be mixed and what firmware works on what cards Thank You Gert

Morning Coulomb Thanks for the response make sense Perhaps you can assist with another card that i am looking at 5Kw Card Starts up normally then shuts down AC output 5 sec After 5 Sec Restarts ac Output and shuts down ac Output again but in a shorter time interval the more it starts and shuts down the shorter the time interval What I have tested and found is that the TX9 shutdown and loses incoming voltage but in the way a cap will discharge slowly dropping out I Am busy looking at U10 But doesn't want to start stripping everything as this is a new card received from Voltronic via our suppliers Only Battery Connected No Load connected If AC connected It charges Battery as normal and functions normal until you need to use the battery only any ideas before i start removing components thanks

Morning Coulomb I have Sorted out the The Error 32 That u5 voltage regulator was the issue After replacing it again The system started up normally. One question I do have is how does c116 that was blown interfere with the battery voltage reading that showed 0 v At the start of the repair the original issue with this Inverter was not detecting battery at all reading on display for battery also showed 0 V but it did manage to start up from battery with no Error codes

Thanks for the replay i Have tested 4 Control card all the same Change out all three cables to display that included power communication and the on of button Have changed the 485 cable from the duplex card inside the lid to the display Does the u5 %v Voltage regulator 7805 have something to do with the communication card processor ?? The Display was working fine before changing out that regulator and caps Thank you

  13. Morning All Axpert Cards"Voltronic has an onboard 30A relay to Do the same Function as the external Anti Island relay that needs to be installed on the outside of the SunSynk and Deya Inverters The Main test is to add battery voltage and test between output neutral and ground for resistance Pls remove The incoming cables before test The test indicates a dry contact between output neutral and ground
